The second day of 2009 Winter Series was completed on Sunday 5th July. Yet again we were blessed with perfect weather for Ultimate, windless and sunny.

The games were all competitive and there was some great Ultimate being played. The UCT team played hard and have come a long way in the last month, becoming much more organised in offence and defence. Watch these guys in future! Khaya joined us for the first time and although they didn’t have a full strength team, they competed well. It was excellent to see some new young faces in the Khaya team. Chilli had a better turnout and fielded a full team the entire day which made them much more competitive. Ambassadors were looking strong and controlled and won their 2 games. Zebru have managed to remain unbeaten so far although they face a tough 3 game lineup on Day 3.
The award for Player of the Series (which includes individual assists, scores and award nominations) is being hotly contested by Ant from Chilli, Pinky from Zebru and Tim from Ambassadors.
