Winter Series – Day 1
The first 2 rounds of games in the CTU Winter Series were played last Sunday the 7th June. The weather dice rolled in our favour and we scored a perfect sunny and calm day for Ultimate.
Unfortunately, lack of numbers in each team meant that the third round of the day was postponed until the next Series day in July. The UCTÂ team showed up the regular teams, not only by arriving on time and by competing well, but also having the largest team. Chilli pushed through their games with either 1 or 2 players short while Ambassadors weren’t much better off and played without subs for most of the day. Zebru also lacked a full team but benefited from recruiting a few new players to the team. Hopefully the next Round will be more action packed and well attended by all teams as the SA Nationals tournament draws closer. View the Winter Series standings.
