Goaltimate arrives in SA
Newsflash: The first ever* game of Goaltimate took place in South Africa yesterday!
Bridget kindly bought a Goalty set (pvc pipes from a local hardware store), Gareth sourced some stakes, and the two of them introduced the game to the rest of the Ct Ultimate gang. It was an instant hit, especially with Ant and Steve – whose maturer legs and sneaky throws were longing for a shorter, faster version of Ultimate! Everyone loved it so much that they are playing again today (friday) at 5 at Wynberg.
Come along and see for yourself. Could this be the start of something new in SA?
