Finally, we received the following from Peter Jessop:

Dear Cape Town Ultimate community.
The 15th of November 2016 sees the 2nd annual ‘Red Frogs get Ultimate tournament’ happen at the Wynberg boys’ High School fields for what is bound to be a fun filled day of action packed ultimate. For those that attended last year we thank you for your support and hope to see you again! While for everyone else we really hope you won’t miss out on the fun this time!
I’d specifically like to encourage you as the Cape Town ultimate community to use this event to introduce new players to game or develop and encourage beginners. Please try and refrain from just making teams with your ultimate friends but rather with your non-ultimate friends. My suggestion is to go half-half, so 5 experienced ultimate players and 5 beginners. This way there will still be a high level of intensity but also a fantastic way to grow the sport.
I know the easy thing to do is just make a team with those you know already love ultimate and if it really is too much of an effort to find beginners than I’m going to ask that you rather sign up as an individual.
Hope to see you all there!

That’s all for this week – good luck to all the teams competing in Rocktober. Travel safely and have a blast.
